Retaining its original round Beaufort metal label, this armchair exemplifies Beaufort’s exceptional craftsmanship, at a time when the company was one of Belgium’s most renowned furniture manufacturers. Georges van Rijck, then the company’s artistic director and principal designer, was responsible for the majority of Beaufort’s creations, including this iconic piece of 1960s Belgian design.
