Arne Hovmand-Olsen, Set of 6 Dining Chairs, 1960s, Denmark Manufacturer: Mogens Kold

Arne Hovmand-Olsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1919. He began his career as a cabinetmaker in 1938 before studying furniture design and establishing his own workshop, where he created modern furniture for leading manufacturers, including Mogens Kold and Niels Otto Møller. His style is distinctly Scandinavian, characterized by simplified forms, organic lines and furniture crafted primarily from wood.

Condition: Very good, recently reupholstered in Dedar fabric.
